September is Michelle’s busy season. Therefore we would need to look at one of the first weekends in October. Katherine is still breastfeeding, so maybe next year would be a better time to leave her with the grandparents for a weekend. Also after this summer, we are kinda tapped out on the funds, so $200 a head and travel would be a bit rich right now.
I recommend the Gauley in 2009. I think this would maybe give Aaron and Dawnimal a chance to join us with significantly advanced notice. I also expect that Neel and Meghan will be on the East coast by then, so it would be a great tribe affair. Plus it would also give Gideon enough time to think of an exuse better then “I got caught in a meeting“. If Gideon actually grew a set, and decided to come, it would also give him and Allison time to find an adequate sitter.
Uhh, beside next year I will be one year closer to retirement.

I like the 2009 Gauley trip idea:) I just need to make sure i get preggers and have the baby before then. As well as Jen & Michelle I might add. And if Boo & I can make it then Gid better make it too. Or else it won’t matter if he finds my dream job or not.

OK….. Official invite will come later but here is the early party notice for next year. In summer, there will be a dress up party where you need to dress to represent a song. Email me your song and they will be played throughout the night. The person that can correctly link the most songs and people will win a prize as will the dresser. Start thinking about it now people!!!!!

I can do October 2008. We need to set a date sometime early next year. I have a few things I can plan around it, so it will make things easier. There is an awesome camping spot right up the road from Class IV river adventures. Or we could find a state park nearby. Class IV also rents out cabins, but I’m thinking it may get expensive, I would rather rough it and bring a keg.
I really wish we could make it up for the Oct trip. Maybe we can make Thanksgiving or around Christmas again. I’m still trying to pay off the credit cards from June….hehehe
