On Saturday we had Michelle’s shower at my house. The weather was fantastic and we were able to eat on the deck. Tobi did a phenomial job decorating my house and Helen, besides making an incredible cake, was essential in so many ways. Michelle took away a fantastic haul of kitchen and bath items and a “wishing well” full of items new home owners of a fixer-upper would need. Of all the things Michelle recieved, it was the recipes given by the attendees that brought tears to Michelle’s eyes. She was so touched. If there are AZF2Kers that would like to contribute to the recipe book, please send them to Tobi. Tobi did a really nice job with the layout and we presented them in sheet protectors so they could easily be slipped into Denis and Michelle’s private collection of recipes.

I maintained cover even when the cover was blown, I know you all wanted to throw me under the bus. Michelle was really touched. She woke up at “too early” on Sunday to write thank you cards, because she was that moved.

As usual, I made WAYYYYYYY too much food. Out of the 4 pyrex casserole dishes I made, only 1.5 got eaten.
