Mother and baby are doing well. Riley is happy to finally have someone to boss around.
Dawn’s water broke yesterday morning while she was grading report cards in the back of her classroom. Her principal took her to the hospital while I picked up Riley and met her there. 10 hours later, Gavin was born. After the check was performed by the nurses, he was handed to me all swaddled up and content. He opened his eyes and stared at me for a whole half hour without making a sound. I was in heaven.
I secretly was hoping to share my birthday with my son (the 10th) but now that he is here, I can’t even see myself waiting another day….
I’ll post up more photos when I get the chance.

Just think, in a few years you can have father and son birthday weekends!! and in 21 years you can have massive father son keggers.

Nice pics! Dawn looks great. You look the same. I got to get down to that garage soon. Do you do body? REI Richmond ‘09. I’m going to try to get down to open it up, Maybe I’ll drive. I like the pics of you riding the teacup, and enjoying the tea party.
