  1. DMAC Says:

On the17th my troop does its annual thanksgiving invitational cook-out. Where the kids Cook and entire thanksgiving feast for friends, family and local politicians. Usually dinner is serves around three. I don’t see a way of getting out of that.

If it interests you, at all, you are more than welcome to attend. After that we can split back to our condo and have drinks until the sun comes up again. But that day I kinda need to be there, and partake.

Otherwise, we can just say that I would be available sometime after dusk.

  2. Norm Says:

Well that is a bummer…I’ll check with Dawn…I think she is up for anything. I do know I really want to get together…I have a wedding gift for Lester and Jen, it’s been sitting in the dining room wrapped for months…..

  3. Lester Says:

I just sent in my time off request. rolls dice and waits.

  4. Norm Says:

    Sweet!

  5. Norm Says:

Speaking of the Gauley River…..I’ve done this a few times and it’s awesome. Well worth the trip.

  6. Lester Says:

Time off request approved I have the 17th off.

  7. DMAC Says:

Nice, should be a good evening.

  8. Norm Says:

Cool….so do we want to do something down in Vista, Hartford, or something in between?

  9. Michelle Says:

Where are you staying Norm? Is one more convenient than another? For us it would be easier if you came here since Denis has his boyscout event during the day. But if you want to do Hartford we will just get there when we can.

  10. Norm Says:

    I’m the something in-between….

we’ll be staying at my mother’s house in Shelton (north of Bridgeport) just off Rte 8.

  11. Uncle Ralph and the rest of Saginaw Says:

Tom, Jack, Gary, Russ, Rich, Frank, Ralph, Chuck are all in.

    Can the Oldroyd’s come too?

  12. DMAC Says:

Only if they sign the rasin song; otherwise no!

  13. Uncle Ralph and the rest of Saginaw Says:

Not sure that they are fluent in American Sign language … maybe they will sing it

    1 2 3

    A Raisin
    A Raisin
    A Big Fat Raisin

    Everybody

    A Raisin
    A Raisin
    A Big Fat Raisin

  14. Lester Says:

Well I say we invite the rest of saggy nuts chapter. If they have the balls to show. I thought the Oldroyds were in South Carolina doing Chris Caruso impressions?
Aren’t Ralph & Jack in the big campground in the sky?
It should be Orwaneco tree service. Brother D-day and I agree on this one.

  15. Michelle Says:

Alright… I am going to invite everyone to come here. We will mix up some munchies instead of a full thanksgiving meal since it sounds like you guys might be coming to the scout event. Beer wine cocktails. We can set up tents if you and the saginaw want to get too fun to drive!!

  16. Norm Says:

I spoke to my mother last night, and she was okay with us hosting something at her house while she is gone, but I like the idea of coming down there too.

    Questions:

A: Is everyone invited to the Scout thingy? Either way we need a time/place for Sat.

2: I don’t think driving will be a problem now that I have the DD (Dawn)

    C. Do we need to bring anything?

IV: Should we plan on a sitter or not?

I’m sure there will be more when the date gets closer. I’m really looking forward to the get together…(but not in a gay way)

  17. Michelle Says:

a: everyone is invited to the scout thing. Dinner is usually served around 3pm. If you can’t make dinner show up at our house at six.

ii: Wow sober Dawn and Jen, what will I do? You guys are welcome to bring Riley, we can put her down on our bed or if you want to bring a pack and play. Or you can do the babysitter thing. Whatever you want.

3: Stuff to bring, how about just beer or wine?

quatro: we are very much looking forward to Norm/Lester gay handholding.

  18. Lester Says:

“quatro: we are very much looking forward to Norm/Lester gay handholding” Good one, I will walk with a limp for a while.
We can all go to the scout thing?
Norm do you think the spineless tenderfoot that can’t even type his own name will show? This lurking shit is so my space, It makes me feel like I really need some virtual friends while I sit in the basement playing one of those war craft games.

  19. Norm Says:

    I don’t know….I hope he can show….

On another note….where is the scout thing? We just need an address so I can Google it….or for Aaron’s sake, use Yahoo maps.

  20. DMAC Says:

Yeah, you can all come to the scout thing, I just need to know how many are coming. so that I can get an accurate number; and the sooner the better. best before tuesday night.

Pat let me know if you are interested as well. uhh I mean Uncle Ralph.

The thanksgiving meal hosted by Troop 101 is located at onatru farm, 99 Elwood road in south salem NY 10590 (VISTA) Meal time is around 3.

Norm, I wouldn’t brag about having Double D’s.

  21. Norm Says:

    DD = Designated Driver…..

    In case someone needed clarification….

  22. Norm Says:

Okay…you can expect Dawn and I for the Scout thing….if that is okay. Riley most likely will be there…but she doesn’t each much.

I tried to Yahoo Maps the address and there is no Elwood Road in South Salem. Do you mean Elmwood Road?

    Makes a big difference…..

  23. Michelle Says:

    It is Elmwood rd.

  24. Norm Says:

So here is where I’m coming from:

  25. Patrick Says:

Why would you say Mike Gelb is a spineless tenderfoot?

  26. Lester Says:

’cause he does not have the balls to say it is him.
    TTS. not OTS.
Andhe wont show at D’s place

  27. Michelle Says:

    Norm,

No one has a cell phone number for you so we hope you get this. Denis just called to say that the boys are ahead of schedule and it looks like food will be served at 2pm instead of 3pm.

  28. DMAC Says:

Regretfully Pat didn’t show, but thats understandable as his kids were practicing their part in the exorcist. Otherwise, we had a great time. I couldn’t get over how big Riley is. man kids grow fast. Riley is smart she was giving Norm a hard time asking him if they were lost and needed directions. On saturday Seabass was reading me a book.

  29. Norm Says:

I had a good time as well. The wine always seems to go down too well with friends….

anyway made it home with no problems….the only bummer is that I can’t seem to find my Spirit of the Arrow patch….I’m so bummed….

  30. Patrick Says:

Sorry I missed it. As Denis mentioned my kids were pretty sick.

    So who needs patches?

  31. DMAC Says:

I do! I do! Norm’s collection is complete and so is lester’s feed my collection. I am no golden child ya know.

  32. Norm Says:

I never said my collection is complete….I do not have anything past the NOAC 96′ Ghost flap….nothing up to the merger…..nada…nothing zip ziltch….

I have not looked in my collection in a few years…I may have one or two still missing out there….

I would love if I could get my hands on a photocopy of the 15th they they cut up the entire run….
